EECSI 2015 Call for Papers

Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI), Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA), IEEE Indonesian Section SP/ED/E/PES Joint Chapter & IEEE Indonesian Section Computer Society Chapter organize the conference on 19-21 August 2015 in Palembang, Indonesia. This event is intended to provide technical forum and research discussion related to electrical, electronics, instrumentation, control & telecommunication engineering, computer science and informatics.

EECSI Policies

  • Please avoid submission of papers that are already published or under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  • Registration fee for papers submission in Batch I is cheaper then Batch II. So, you are encouraged to submit your worthy papers in Batch I.
  • First submitted papers will be first evaluated and have higher chance for possible publication in the EECSI proceeding.
  • Then, first accepted papers will be first promoted to extend for possible publication in some Scopus indexed journals. So, first accepted papers will have higher chance for early publication scheduling in the journals.

  • Final Acceptance/ Rejection Notification : May 25, 2015
  • Camera Ready Submission : Jun 30, 2015
  • Early Registration : Jul 15, 2015 (Early Payment for Batch II)
  • Registration Ends : Aug 10, 2015 (Final Payment Deadline)

Extended Abstracts submission

  • Potential authors are invited to submit their original, unpublished works in extended abstract form to EECSI 2015.
  • Quick link to the online submission system through EDAS. Submitting a paper via EDAS consists of four steps: logging in or creating an account; registering the paper, adding authors and submitting the manuscript file. As alternative (but don’t do double submissions), authors also may submit through EECSI.
  • Authors may extended abstract MAX 2 pages (or directly submit fullpapers 4-6 pages)
  • You may download the Extended summary template as an aid for your formatting. This is only a standard template from the IEEE.
  • Examples of extended abstracts with several acceptable format variations for your reference:
  1. Sample 1 : A very good example
  2. Sample 2: A very good example but with some minor problems
  3. Sample 3: A good example of extended abstract where references are  written in different forms (which is incorrect) and figure is not clear
  4. Sample 4:  A good example of extended abstract where authors don’t try to use the entire 2-page space. You should give as much info as possible for your work so that others can refer to it later.
  • All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least three reviewers and selected based on their originality, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation.
  • The review results will be informed to authors generally within 4-8 weeks, so you should submit your extended abstracts (or your fullpapers) as early as possible

General Guidelines and Preparation of Final Full Papers

  • All papers must conform to standard IEEE Conference Paper Template must be submitted as MS Word file format between 4 to 6 pages including text, figures, tables and references.
  • Prepare your paper in the exact format as the above templates. Failure to do so may result in the exclusion of your paper from the proceedings. Please read the authors’ instructions carefully before preparing your papers.
  • Please note that the standard total page number for each paper is between 4 to 6 pages, any additional page will be charge USD40 per page.
  • The author name, affiliation and Email contact address should be clearly specified in the full paper.
  • The official language is English (Please make sure proof-reading of English language is conducted and if necessary submit to native English checker before submitting to us. Papers may rejected due to language problem).

Conference Tracks

Submission papers may fit into more than one review track, please select the one track that corresponds best to your submission.  The tracks are used for the purpose of reviewing papers submission. Accepted submissions will be grouped thematically (not necessarily by review track) in the meeting program.

Extended versions of the selected papers

The excellent accepted papers after extension and modification will be published in SCOPUS indexed journals.
